Business Talk – Heading to EURA 2025: Why Vietnam Is Booming, and How Relocation Vietnam Supports Expats and Entrepreneurs from A to Z

Updated: Apr 23

7.09% GDP growth, $38B in foreign investment, and the fastest-growing digital economy in Southeast Asia — Vietnam is no longer just an emerging market. With the EURA 2025 Conference in Zagreb approaching, we sat down with Stéphanie Ralu, founder of Relocation Vietnam, to explore how her team is turning global mobility into real-life success stories.

Thank you for taking the time to speak with us in this special edition of our newsletter. Let’s start with the obvious — Vietnam has been experiencing fast-paced growth. How does this influence your positioning today?

Stéphanie: Absolutely — Vietnam is in a period of full-scale acceleration. This growth isn’t just economic; it’s structural, cultural, urban. Every year, more international companies set up operations here, and regional talent is being relocated to cities like Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

For those who want to dive deeper into what’s happening, we recently published a full analysis: +7% Growth, $38B in Investments: Why Vietnam Is Booming in 2025.

That said, relocating to Vietnam can still be complicated. The administrative system, cultural codes, language barrier — it’s not always easy to navigate, even for seasoned professionals. That’s where we come in.

At Relocation Vietnam, we are more than a relocation agency — we are a high-end concierge service. We support expats and companies from A to Z: housing, schooling, legal setup, healthcare, and also — and this is key — entrepreneurial support. We help clients create their company, register their business, find offices, and connect with the right partners — lawyers, accountants, HR experts, interior designers… whatever they need to get started.

Relocation Vietnam has expanded its range of services recently. Can you tell us more?

Stéphanie: One of our most practical additions is our furniture rental service, available for short-, medium-, or long-term durations. It addresses a common issue: expats often arrive weeks or even months before their personal belongings. Living in an empty apartment isn’t exactly a welcoming experience.

Now, our clients can move straight into fully furnished, elegant homes — and if they like the furniture, they can even purchase it at the end of the rental term. It’s smart, simple, and seamless.

We’ve also expanded our Cross-Cultural Training (CCT) programs, which are now a core part of our relocation journey. This isn’t about generic culture tips — it’s about practical integration, tailored to each person’s role and reality.

What do those programs look like in practice?

Stéphanie: We offer two main formats:

  • The Cultural Integration Workshop, designed for families and individuals, covers the fundamentals of daily life: local etiquette, healthcare, education, service navigation, relationship building, etc.

  • The Cross-Cultural Leadership Training, designed for managers and executives, focuses on managing Vietnamese teams, navigating indirect communication, giving feedback, and making decisions in a multicultural environment.

We tailor every session based on the participant’s profile, industry, and objectives — it’s highly contextual, and very well-received by our clients.

Are these services clearly visible on your website now?

Stéphanie: Yes. We recently redesigned the entire site to reflect our evolved scope and positioning. You’ll find dedicated pages for furniture rental, cross-cultural support, relocation services, and now even entrepreneurial setup assistance.

Our goal was to communicate clearly that we’re not a large, impersonal corporate — we’re a boutique firm with deep roots in Vietnam, and a commitment to personal, agile service.

Relocation Vietnam recently joined the Reloc8 Asia Pacific Group. What does that bring to your clients?

Stéphanie: It’s a huge asset. Reloc8 Asia is a vetted network of top relocation partners across the region — Japan, Singapore, Australia, Korea… Being part of this community allows us to provide regional continuity to clients who operate in multiple countries — while still giving them one local contact point they trust.

It’s also a way to share best practices, stay up to date, and constantly raise our service standards.

You’ll be attending the EURA Conference in Zagreb. What do you hope to share there this year?

Stéphanie: EURA is where global mobility takes shape. This year, we’re proud to showcase how Relocation Vietnam has evolved — from a traditional relocation agency into a full-service partner for both people and businesses.

Vietnam is no longer a fringe market. It’s a strategic hub for Asia — but one that still requires local expertise to navigate. Our goal is to be that trusted on-the-ground partner, for expats, for HR teams, for entrepreneurs.

Final thought?

Stéphanie: What I hope people remember is that we don’t just check boxes — we build relationships. Every project is different, and every person deserves to feel safe, understood, and supported.

When a client tells us, months later, “I honestly couldn’t have done it without you,” — that’s when we know we’ve done our job.
