This month, there was no need to travel far from District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City thanks to the networking event organized by the GBA, CTCVN, and JCCH — the German, Taiwanese, and Japanese chambers of commerce. The edition took place on October 15, 2025, and mainly brought together professionals from the machinery, automotive, and chemical sectors.
As a relocation company operating in Vietnam, such events are of great importance to us. They allow us to stay informed about the economic environment in which we operate and remain connected to the reality of international businesses established here. These gatherings are not only opportunities to initiate new partnerships or contracts; they also provide a deeper understanding of the Vietnamese business landscape — its dynamics, key players, and challenges.
Each meeting highlights specific industries — this time, machinery, automotive, and chemicals. Attending these complementary events regularly helps build a comprehensive view of Vietnam’s economic environment and its many stakeholders.
Meeting people from different backgrounds, all working within the same sectors, is always an enriching experience. Everyone approaches their role in their own way, shaped by their culture, background, and worldview, offering valuable insights into the challenges and successes of companies and expatriates in Vietnam.
Throughout these conversations, we often meet expatriates who have recently settled or have been living here for years, sharing their integration experiences, projects, and support needs. These exchanges strongly resonate with our mission: to make settling and adapting in Vietnam as smooth and enjoyable as possible for those who choose it as their new home.
We maintain strong relationships with the chambers of commerce in Vietnam — especially the GBA, which will be celebrating its 30th anniversary at the end of November, an event not to be missed : see event of the month.
