The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has selected 21 hotels that are authorized to ensure the isolation of people coming from abroad.
Initially, people arriving from abroad were isolated in barracks or boarding schools. In order to diversify the range of accommodation on offer, hotels were authorized to accommodate people in quarantine in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
As far as Ho Chi Minh City is concerned, the first list of 8 hotels was published on July 24, 2020. Then, in response to the programmed increase in admissions, a second list was published on 12 October.

The prices may vary depending on the kind of room and services you will choose.
The people currently allowed to enter the Vietnamese territory are very restricted. Apart from repatriated Vietnamese (minors, the elderly, the sick, and individuals whose visas expire), diplomats, experts, investors, entrepreneurs, specialized workers, and their families and students are allowed to enter. In the coming days, the possibility of entry could be extended to all Vietnamese, but especially to foreigners who are relatives (father, mother, husband, wife, children) of Vietnamese, with a possible limitation to those coming from countries considered to be safe. Vietnam is still closed to tourists.
