The Perhentian Islands are composed of two islands:
Perhentian Kecil and Perhentian Besar. The first is smaller, but more festive. The second is larger but quieter.
The islands remain relatively intact and the only permanent inhabitants live in a small fishing village on Perhentian Kecil. Besides the trails that cross the jungle, there are no roads on the islands. To get around, you have to walk in the jungle or take a water taxi. If you walk carefully, you may be lucky enough to encounter some of the wildlife, such as lizards, fruit bats, squirrels or even the elusive mouse deer. Simple cottages and small, medium-luxury resorts connect the picturesque beaches as well as restaurants, dive centres and boatmen who share their services with hand-painted panels.

If you come to the Perhentian Islands, don’t expect to visit many museums. The main activity here is lounging on white sand beaches. You will discover here beautiful landscapes, which have only the seabed. The waters are incredible, do not miss to come on these dream islands.
- Snorkeling
This is the main activity to be done on the Islands. The seabed is full of fish, turtles, harmless sharks and corals, an incredible seascape.
- A walk in the jungle
To reach the different beaches, you have to cross different paths through the jungle.
